Touriga Franca is a little-known Portuguese grape used to make some pretty hefty red wines. If you’re a fan of Malbec, Merlot, or softer Primitivo/Zinfandel, then Touriga Franca could well be the grape for you. Notes of blackberry and violet combine with a full body – it’s a superb match for a ribeye steak with chimichurri.
